Hi, I’m Dr. Yolanda Bogaert.  I’m a mom of 2 to Sofia and Miguel, who was diagnosed with autism at 2 years old.  I'm also a nephrologist with multiple sclerosis. Trying to balance caring for patients and my family while figuring out ASD pushed me into severe exhaustion, reacting instead of responding, and feeling disconnected from the life I worked so hard to obtain and sustain.


I created The Pause that Heals to help time-poor, overwhelmed healthcare providers and moms of kids with autism spectrum disorder, like us, to reclaim focus, energy, and joy.


The Pause that Heals lets us successfully create sustainable micro-moments of calm, reconnect to our purpose: mothering and caring both at home and work, with more ease and less guilt.
